NOTE
Do steps (1) and (2) for right side only.

Remove nut (1), lockwasher (2),
washer (3), and screw (4) from
defroster tube guard (5).
NOTE
Not all vehicles have locknut (6) or screw (7).
(2)
Remove locknut (6), screw (7), and
place defroster tube guard (5) inside
glove box compartment (8).
