Block, Retainer (part no. A4809211)
NOTE
Use MG600 1/16 in. filler rod if using a TIG welder.
Use 336 or 340 welding rod if stick welding.
a. Removal.
(1)
Grind off any remaining weld or broken retainer block from locking pin (1).
b. Installation.
(1)
Rotate locking lever (2) to the up position. Inboard retainer block (3) should be to the back of locking pin
(1) and parallel with the winch frame (4).
(2)
Place a 0.040 in. thick shim (7) between end of inboard retainer block (3) and winch frame (4) and clamp
in place.
