Position drum (6), gear end drum hub (7) down.
Remove two plugs (8).
Remove 12 screws (9), lockwashers (10), motor end drum hub (11), and preformed packing (12).

Remove primary carrier assembly (13) from drum (6).
Remove secondary carrier assembly (14) from drum (6).
Turn drum (6) over and remove 12 screws (15) and
lockwashers (16).
Remove gear end drum hub (7) and preformed
packing (17).
