Locator boss should be measured from
the transmission oil track surface to the
top of the locator boss prior to grinding.

Removing material from the housing
locator boss to a dimension of 1.500
inches (38 mm) as measured from the
transmission housing oil track face will
be sufficient to clear the modulator valve
body.
(1.2)
Clean all debris from transmission
housing oil track with dry cleaning
solvent.
