13-11. HYDRAULIC RESERVOIR STRAINERS REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (CONT).

Installation.
WARNING
Adhesives, solvents, and sealing
compounds can burn easily, can give off
harmful vapors, and are harmful to skin
and clothing. To avoid injury or death, keep
away from open fire and use in
well-ventilated area. If adhesive, solvent,
or sealing compound gets on skin or
clothing, wash immediately with soap and
water.
(1)
Apply light coat of pipe thread sealing
compound on threads of two pipes (2).
(2)
Install two strainers (1) on threaded
pipes (2).

Follow-on Maintenance.
(1)
Install hydraulic reservoir top
plate (para 13-10).
(2)
Fill hydraulic reservoir with oil
(LO 9-2320-279-121.
(3)
Check hydraulic reservoir for leaks.
