l Tag and mark all connections and wires before disconnecting.
l Cut plastic cable ties as necessary.
(1) Disconnect two connectors (1) from two receptacles (2).
(2) Disconnect two-pin connector (3).
N O T E
M984E1 has only two cushion clips.
(3) Remove screw (4), washer (5), and cushion clip (6) to free engine harness (7) from lower right
flange of transmission (8).
