d.1. Assembly (Model B).
NOTE
Some Model B filter assemblies have a
machined head. Others have a cast head.
Bowls for the cast head and bowls for the
machined head are not interchangeable.
All other internal parts are the same.
Assembly is the same.
(1) Install preformed packing (1), backup
ring (2), and bushing (3) in head (4).
NOTE
Side with seal faces up.
(2) Install filter (5) in bowl (6).
(3) Install bowl (6) in head (4) and tighten
to 15 lb-ft (20 NSm).
(4) Install plug (7) and preformed packing
(8) on bowl (4).
(5) Install bypass valve assembly (9) in
head (4).
e. Installation.
(1) Install mounting bracket (1) on tire
davit (2) with two clamps (3).
(2) Install four lockwashers (4) and nuts (5)
on two clamps (3). Do not tighten.

Install remote control connector (6) on
mounting bracket (1) with lockwasher
(7) and nut (8).
(4)
Install protective cap (9) on remote
control connector (6).
