16-26.1. SEAT (AIR-RIDE) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (CONT).
d. Installation.
WARNING
Pull out ride control valve knob to release
pressure in air-ride system. Failure to
comply may result in injury to personnel.
NOTE
Both seats are installed the same
way, left seat shown.
Release cable ties as required.
Apply sealant to fittings as required.
(1) Soldier A and Soldier B position seat (1)
on seat support (2).
(2) Install four washers (3) and locknuts (4)
on studs (5).
(3) Install washer (6), screw (7), washer (8),
two tethers (9 and 10), two washers (11),
seat belt (12), washer (13), and locknut
(14) on each side of seat (1).
(4) Install retainer (15), upper retractable
tether (16), lockwasher (17), screw (18),
and cap (19) on seat (1).
(5) Connect airhose (20) to ride control
valve (21).
