(3) Install air governor (2) on air compressor (4). (4) Install top mounting bolt (5) and lockwasher (6) in air governor (2). Tighten bolt to 9-13 lb-ft (12.2-17.6 N°m). (5) Coat threads of fitting (7) with pipe thread sealing compound and install fitting. (6) Install bottom mounting bolt (8) and lockwasher (9) in air governor (2). Tighten bolt to 9-13 lb-ft (12.2-17.6 N°m). (7) Connect four air lines (10) to air governor (2). c . Follow-on Maintenance. Adjust air governor setting (para 11-36). END OF TASK 11-38.
