Equipment Condition:
Wheels chocked (TM 9-2320-279-10)
Materials/Parts:
Engine turned off (TM 9-2320-279-10)
Tag, Identification (as required) (Item 23,
a. Removal.
NOTE
Tag and mark connectors prior to removal.
There are three directional control valves. All three valves are removed the
same way.
Place drain pan under directional control valve to catch excess hydraulic oil.
(1) Open hydraulic cabinet cover (1).
(2) Loosen two screws (2) and remove connectors (3) and gaskets (4) from directional control valve (5).
Discard gaskets.
(3) Remove four screws (6), directional control valve (5) and five o-rings (7) from main manifold block (8).
Discard o-rings.
