Remove piston (17), backup ring (18),
preformed packing (19), and backup ring (18).
Remove spacer (20) from rod (11).
Remove preformed packing (21) and
backup ring (22) from head (23).
Remove head (23) from rod (11).
Remove backup ring (24), seal (25), and
wear ring (26).
(13) Remove end cap (10) from rod (11).
(14) Remove dust seal (27) from end cap (10).
b. Cleaning/Inspection.

Adhesives, solvents, and sealing compounds can burn easily, can give off harmful
vapors, and are harmful to skin and clothing. To avoid injury or death, keep away
from open fire and use in well-ventilated area. If adhesive, solvent, or sealing
compound gets on skin or clothing, wash immediately with soap and water.
Clean all metal parts in dry cleaning solvent.
Inspect each part for damage.
Replace damaged parts.
