b. Installation.
CAUTION
Do not tear or otherwise damage
coupling gaskets during installation.
If coupling gaskets are damaged,
piping connections will leak.
NOTE
New style V1 emergency valve is .380
in (9.6 mm) shorter than the old style
V1 emergency valve. When replacing
old style valve with new style valve,
pipe assembly must also be replaced.

Install coupling gasket (1) on
pipe (2).
WARNING
Adhesives, solvents, and sealing
compounds can burn easily, can give
off harmful vapors, and are harmful to
skin and clothing. To avoid injury or
death, keep away from open fire and
use in well-ventilated area. If
adhesive, solvent, or sealing compound
Pgets on skin or clothing, washP
immediately with soap and water.

Apply silicone adhesive-sealant
on gasket (3) and install gasket
and V1 emergency valve (4) on
bottom of tank (5).
