a. Removal.
NOTE
New style V1 emergency valve is .380 in (9.6 mm) shorter than the old style V1 emergency
valve. When replacing old style valve with new style valve, pipe assembly must also be
replaced. New style valve can be identified by the words “BETTS INDUSTRIES” cast into
the valve housing, on the driver’s side.
