17-19. CRANE HOIST SHEAVE PULLEY REMOVAL/REPAIR/INSTALLATION (M983) (CONT).
a. Removal.
(1) Remove locknut (1), washer (2),
bushing (3), and cable loop (4)
from shaft (5).
NOTE
Note position of cable in hook
block and hoist sheaves before
removing shaft.
(2) While removing shaft (5) from
boom (6), remove short
spacer (7), sheaves (8), long
spacer (9), and bracket (10).
