CAUTION
Electrical power must be shut
off from circuit before continuity
can be checked. Failure to
comply with this caution may
result in damage to test
equipment or electrical
system.
(1) Loosen connector screw and remove
connector from the transit valve(s)
solenoid.
(2) Set multimeter to ohms position.

NOTE
A reading of infinity indicates an

open circuit.

(3) Connect multimeter leads to each end
of wire and check multimeter for
continuity. Check for continuity
between digital controller wiring
harness (J3), position "18", and
TRANSIT VALVE
transit valve solenoid connectors,
CONNECTOR
position "1".

(4) Repeat Step 3 to check for continuity
between (J3), position "38", and
position "2" on the transit valve
solenoid connectors.
