continuity can be checked.

damage to test equipment
or electrical system.

(1) Disconnect remote control cable
from components.
(2) Set multimeter to ohms position.
NOTE
A reading of infinity indicates an
open circuit.

(3) Connect multimeter leads to each
end of wire and check multimeter
for continuity. Check for
REMOTE CONTROL
continuity between position D on
CABLE
chassis end and position C on
remote control end. Also check
for continuity between position J
on chassis end and position E on
remote end.
