CONTINUITY TEST
CAUTION
Electrical power must be shut off
from circuit before continuity can
be checked. Failure to comply
with this caution may result in dam-
age to test equipment or electrical
system.
(1) Disconnect remote control cable from
P9
components.
(2) Set multimeter to ohms position.
NOTE
A reading of infinity indicates an open
circuit.
(3) Connect multimeter leads to each end
of wire and check multimeter for
continuity. Check for continuity
P8
between position C on chassis end
and position L on remote control end.
Also check for continuity between
REMOTE CONTROL CABLE
position J on chassis end and
position E on remote end.
