CONTINUITY TEST
CAUTION
Electrical power must be shut off
from circuit before continuity can
be checked. Failure to comply
with this caution may result in dam-
age to test equipment or electrical
system.
(1) Remove connector from the hook arm
load solenoid.
(2) Set multimeter to ohms position.
MAIN FRAME
NOTE
LOAD SOLENOID
HARNESS
A reading of infinity indicates an open
circuit.
Junction box terminal 15 is con-
nected to one side of the solenoid;
terminal 16 is connected to the other
side.
(5) Connect multimeter leads to each end
of wire, and check multimeter for
continuity. Check for continuity
between the solenoid connector,
position 1, and terminal strip, position
15.
(6) Repeat Step 5 to check for continuity
