CONTINUITY TEST
CAUTION
Electrical power must be shut
off from circuit before continu-
ity can be checked. Failure to
comply with this caution may
result in damage to test equip-
ment or electrical system.
(1) Disconnect remote control cable
from components.
(2) Set multimeter to ohms position.
NOTE
A reading of infinity indicates an
open circuit.
(3) Connect multimeter leads to each
end of wire, and check multimeter
for continuity. Check for continuity
between position F on chassis end
and position K on remote control
end. Also check for continuity
between position J on chassis end
and position E on remote end.
