CONTINUITY TEST
CAUTION
Electrical power must be shut off
from circuit before continuity can
be checked. Failure to comply with
this caution may result in damage
to test equipment or electrical sys-
tem.
(1) Set multimeter to ohms position.
NOTE
A reading of infinity indicates an
open circuit.
(2) Connect multimeter leads to each end
of wire, and check multimeter for
WORKLIGHT
continuity. Check for continuity
CONNECTORS
between terminal strip position 7 and
the end of one wire, and between
terminal strip position 5 and the end of
the other wire.
NOTE
Any reading besides infinity indi-
cates a grounded wire.
(3) Remove multimeter lead from one end
of wire and connect to chassis ground.
