25-2. GENERAL MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS (CONT).
(2) Inspect all hose surfaces for damaged material. Check for breaks caused by sharp kinks or
contact with other parts of vehicle. Inspect fitting threads for damage. Replace defective parts.
Check for leaks after assembly and during initial vehicle operation period.
(3) Inspect wiring harnesses for chafed or burned insulation. Inspect all terminal connectors for
loose connections and broken parts.
(4) Visually inspect all castings and weldments for cracks.
