Remove screw (8), washer (9), backing (10), seal (11), and hatch plate (12) from manhole
cover (5).

Remove two expansion plugs (13) from manhole cover (5).
b. Installation
WARNING
Adhesives, solvents, and sealing compounds can burn easily, can give off harmful vapors,
and are harmful to skin and clothing. To avoid injury or death, keep away from open fire
and use in well-ventilated area. If adhesive, solvent, or sealing compound gets on skin or
clothing, wash immediately with soap and water.

Install two expansion plugs (1) in manhole cover (2) using pipe thread sealing compound.
(2)
Install seal (3), backing, (4), washer (5), and hatch plate (6) on manhole cover (2) with screw (7).
