Remove tire davit (9).
Remove seven screws (10),
remove two screws (11) and
splash guard (12).
Remove locknut (13) and cupped
washer (14). Pull top of shock
absorber (15) out of way.
Soldier A attaches suitable lifting
device to tire davit shock
mount (16), Soldier B operates
lifting device to support tire
davit shock mount.
Soldier A removes six screws (17)
while Soldier B removes
nuts (18).
Soldier A guides tire davit
shock mount (16) from vehicle
while Soldier B operates lifting
device to remove tire davit shock
mount.
