2-44. SET UP/SECURE HIGHWAY EMERGENCY MARKER KIT.
a. Turn On Emergency Flashers.
NOTE

Highway emergency kit should be used to mark
location and caution on-coming traffic whenever
vehicle is disabled or must park in areas where there
is other traffic.

For FHTV model vehicles, ensure that 24V battery
disconnect switch is ON before operating flashers
(para 2-9a.1).

Set turn signal lever (1) to right turn position.
(2)
Push down tab (2) and push turn signal lever (1) up as far as it will
go.
b. Prepare Each Marker For Use.
