CONTINUITY TEST
CAUTION
Electrical power must be shut
off from circuit before continuity
can be checked. Failure to
comply with this caution may
result in damage to test
equipment or electrical
system.
(1) Loosen connector screw and remove
connector from the free flow valve
solenoid.
(2) Set multimeter to ohms position.
NOTE
POSITION 37
A reading of infinity indicates an
open circuit.

(3) Connect multimeter leads to each end
of wire and check multimeter for
POSITION 7
continuity. Check for continuity
between digital controller wiring
POSITION 1
harness (J3), position "7", and free
flow solenoid connector, position "1".
(4) Repeat Step 3 to check for continuity
between (J3), position "37", and
position "2" on the free flow solenoid
connector.
