CONTINUITY TEST

CONTROL
(1) Remove four screws and lockwashers

and access cover from heater
compartment.
(2) Disconnect wiring from components.
(3) Set multimeter to ohms position.
CAB CONTROL BOX
CONNECTOR (P2)
NOTE
A reading of infinity indicates an open
circuit.
(4) Connect multimeter to leads at each
end of wire and check multimeter for
continuity. Check (24-pin) linking
harness, positions B and J.
NOTE
Any reading besides infinity indicates
a grounded wire.
(5) Remove multimeter lead from one end
of wire and connect to chassis
ground.
