HARNESS
CONNECTOR
(J1)
NOTE
Tag and mark connector before re-
moving.
(1) Disconnect (9-pin) linking harness
connector from cab control box.
(2) Set multimeter to ohms position.
NOTE
A reading of infinity indicates an
(9-PIN) LINKING
open circuit.
HARNESS
CONNECTOR (J5)
(3) Connect multimeter leads to each end
of wire, and check multimeter for
continuity. Check between (9-pin)
linking harness connector, position G,
and supply harness connector,
position H.
NOTE
Any reading besides infinity indi-
cates a grounded wire.
(4) Remove multimeter lead from one end
of wire and connect to chassis
ground.
